Ann Schwartz Drobnis is Director of the Computing Community Consortium. The CCC has had great impact on the computing and related research fields via visioning workshops, national symposia, and community white papers on topics ranging from autonomous systems to advancing science. Currently, the CCC is leading a community Roadmap on AI, similar to the 2009 Robotics Roadmap. Before coming to the CCC, Ann was an Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow at the NSF, working on education and workforce development for the CISE Directorate. Prior to that, Ann taught high-school computer science and math at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. She has a passion for broadening participation in computing, as her doctoral research focused on ways to bring more females into the field.

Aidong Zhang is a William Wulf Faculty Fellow and Professor of Computer Science in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at University of Virginia, where she is also affiliated with the Data Science Institute. Her research focuses on data mining/data science, machine learning, bioinformatics and health informatics. Zhang served as an NSF manager of the IIS program during 2015-2018. Zhang was a SUNY Distinguished Professor at SUNY Buffalo prior to joining UVA. She was elected an ACM Fellow in 2017 and IEEE Fellow in 2009. Zhang has published over 320 peer-reviewed publications and is credited with major conceptual and practical advances in her fields, such as WaveCluster, bridging centrality, and concepts-bridges.
