Deborah Goodings is Associate Dean of the College of Engineering and Computing at George Mason University. Goodings served as the Director of the NSF CMMI division during 2015-2018. She joined the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Infrastructure Engineering at George Mason University in 2009 as the Dewberry Professor and Chair. Her prior appointment was as Professor of Geotechnical Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Maryland. Goodings has been recognized with several federal awards. She is also a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers and a By-Fellow of Churchill College at Cambridge University.
